The Striped German Tomato is a beautiful large sliced variety with very attractive, brilliant and bright orange-marbled stripes! The flat, medium to large, variably ribbed-shoulder tomatoes are shaded yellow and red. The marbled interior of this variety looks absolutely beautiful sliced! The complex, fruity flavor and smooth texture makes the Striped German Tomato a customer favorite .Organically grown.

Plymouth spinach is a new variety that is great for processing or fresh market growing. It has smooth, medium-dark green leaves that are uniform in shape and size. Plymouth is a moderate to fast-growing variety and has great yield potential.

The perfect size, shape and taste for a pickling pepper! This pepper variety is covered with thick-walled, sweet, 2-inch tapered peppers that grow in a variety of colors. The Sweet Pickle is one of the best picking peppers around!

Mei Qing Choi cabbage is a Shanghai pak choi type with good heat and cold tolerance and bolting resistance. In the U.S., this variety is harvested as baby pak choi. It is smaller than Joi Choi, weighing about a quarter of a pound. This pak choi has an excellent flavor and is extra tender.

The Piel De Sapo is an oval melon from Spain. This mottled green-yellow skinned cantaloup is 7-9 lb and 8-12" long. The Piel De Sapo has a sweet pale green to white flesh that is tender and a very hard rind. This common European and Spanish market grower is a fine keeper.

Produces an abundance of little snap peas that are delicious straight from the garden. This was one of our favorite snap peas in our trials at Urban Farmer. Little SnapPea Petite sets dainty, sweet, crunchy pods on a full-sized plant. Productive plants grow well in large containers, small gardens, or large gardens. Expect lots of crunchy, sweet, juicy, edible pod peas in about 65 days. In-ground plants will reach 80 inches, container-grown plants will be smaller. For Pea shoots, this variety grows quickly (10 days) and has delicate round leaves and fresh flavor-tastes just like spring peas! The texture is crisp but tender, and plants have long internodes and smallish leaves.

The Juane Canary Melon is an old heirloom football shaped melon with a canary yellow rind and a creamy, white to green flesh. This 4-5 pound melon has a delicious sugar sweet taste that is perfect for summer picnics! This variety will keep well in full sun.

The Red Petite Bell Pepper is a red mini bell pepper that is bursting with flavor! This high yielding mini bell pepper is sweet and ripens to a rich red when mature. The Partial Eclipse F1 Squash is a beautiful and tasty summer squash that has a lovely white scalloped shape with green radial stripes. This squash can be harvested as a baby while its skin is still a pale white or you can let it mature to be eaten like a winter squash or used as a display. Partial Eclipse has a very firm texture and a taste that is amazing when roasted.

The Poinsett 76 Cucumber is a great slicing cucumber, as it is delicious cut up in salads or on sandwiches. This cucumber variety produces thick beautiful dark green fruits. The sun-loving Poinsett 76 will get to be 6-8 inches long when mature. This organic favorite is resistant to most cucumber diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, angular leaf spot and anthracnose.

The Pruden's Purple Tomato, also known as Prudence, is considered to be one of the best heirloom beefsteak tomatoes in America! The Sudduth's Strain Brandywine Tomato is a pink Brandywine type with an excellent, rich and delightfully intense tomato flavor. This variety was obtained from Dorris Sudduth Hill whose family grew it for over 100 years. The large pink beefsteak tomatoes can grow to be about 2 pounds.

The Crayon Colors Mix is a mixture of primary colored radishes that literally paints a wonderful colorful palette in your garden! The color in this mix includes yellow, pink, red, and purple.

Organic - Anaheim is a meaty hot pepper that is great for stuffing. This pepper variety has a mild to medium heat for a chili pepper. Waltham 29 broccoli seeds produce a classic, open-pollinated variety that was developed in the early 20th century by the University of Massachusetts at Waltham and has remained a trusted garden standard ever since. This variety forms large, deep blue-green central heads measuring 6–8" across on sturdy, cold-tolerant plants that typically reach 20–24" tall. Known for its reliability and adaptability, Waltham 29 performs especially well in cooler temperatures and is valued for its uniform growth and strong side-shoot production after the main head is harvested, resulting in generous yields over an extended period. Starbor is a great one cut kale. Tightly cured leaves, that turn to a blue-green color. Plants are compact at 12-18" and produce very uniform leaves. Resistant to turning yellow and has excellent flavor.

Green Field corn produces an abundance of tall (8-10') stalks with 8-9" long ears. Developed from Reid's Yellow Dent, this corn produces bright yellow, long and narrow 14-kernel row ears. Green Field was the name of the farm that this corn was first produced on. Reported yields of 190 bu/acre in the boot heel area of MO.

This pak choi's tender leaves and crisp sweet stalks are a tasty addition to recipes or eaten raw. Swap stalks for celery sticks, add to soups and stews, or grill on the barbecue. Plant every couple of weeks for successive harvests in spring and fall; Bopak retains it’s nice flavor even in warmer weather.

Red Jewel is early maturing and produces good size cabbages. This variety is a high-yielding red cabbage hybrid with uniform maturity. Red Jewel offers a deep red head with a short core and is ideal for both fresh and shredder markets.

The Big Jim is the largest of all chile peppers! This hot-medium pepper can get up to 12 inches long and tastes amazing in many different types of cuisine. The Big Jim yields 24-30 peppers per plant. Honey Rock is a great tasting, early maturing heirloom melon with good yields of quality fruit. This melon variety produces compact 3-4 lbs fruits that are early to mature in just 80 days! Honey Rock's flesh is a tender salmon-orange hue with a delicate sweet taste, no wonder it was an AAS winner for 1933! This small melon is a good size for an early melon.

The Robust 98114W White Popcorn has delicious white kernels that, just like its name, makes the perfect popcorn. This white hull-less corn pops very crisp and tender. This corn has an excellent eating quality and improved stalk strength and yield potential.

Argentina Orange Creole Flint corn seeds are a traditional, heirloom variety of corn originating from Argentina. The Brown Russian cucumber looks like it came from another planet, and is fitting because the taste is out of this world! The brown-skinned 6-8" cucumbers have a clear white flesh that has a crisp, mellow flavor sparked with sugary high notes and no bitterness. This cucumber is best harvested at 5-7" in. long, prolific and hardy.

The red veined Red Tabby Spinach has beautiful tender smooth leaves. This variety is an excellent baby leaf spinach that does well in spring, fall and winter. Its uniform, smooth leaves grow straight and upright. Red Tabby is also resistant to downy mildew races 1-13.

The Snow Crown cauliflower is a delicious, mild and sweet hybrid. This cauliflower's head will get to 7-8 inches across and 1-2 pounds. The Snow Crown is extra early and adaptable and can be harvested in summer or fall. Be careful not to under-fertilize or water, stress can cause a purplish discoloration on the undersides of the head.

The Kellogg's Breakfast Tomato is an heirloom variety that produces big, bright orange fruits that are meaty and juicy with only a few seeds! This large tomato can weigh 1 pound or more! This variety has thin skin and a sweet tangy flavor. Kellogg's Breakfast will brighten up your day!

The Tom Thumb Lettuce is a tennis ball sized Bibb type with a great flavor! This slightly savory, bright green lettuce produces small compact heads that have slightly crumpled leaves with a sweet, delicate flavor. One head will make a salad for two! Tom Thumb will grow beautifully in small pots, window boxes, hanging baskets and planted under trees. This variety is the oldest American lettuce still grown, dating back to 1830's! This rare find is a good one!

With their wide, slightly flattened shape, the Mater Sandwich Tomato is great for slicing and layering, making it the perfect sandwich variety! This tomato is a large, slightly flat deep red tomato that lies across a piece of bread perfectly, tempting you with bits of bright red showing on all four sides! It stays together well too, so you get its juicy-meaty flavor in every bite. The Mater Sandwich is the king of sandwiches!

The Buena Mulata Pepper is beautiful ornamental hot pepper that ripens from a vivid violet to zesty orange, then to deep red! This old heirloom variety traces back to Horace Pippin, an African-American folk artist. When ripe, the pepper will get to around 6 inches in length and will have a heat level that is similar to a cayenne pepper. The Buena Mulata can be used fresh or dried to give any dish a slight kick!

A newer variety that produces flaming red veins on deeply lobed, dark green leaves. Dragon’s Fire brings a great mix of color, shapely form, and delicious, zesty flavor to garden mixes.

Rouge D'Hiver Lettuce is a beautifully multicolored French heirloom romaine. This variety's green leaves are tinted with medium-red color at the tip. Rouge D'Hiver is not just beautiful, but it is also very tasty and very easy to grow. This lettuce is a home favorite for resisting heat and cold stress if well watered. This variety has been recently resurrected.

Scout is an early to main season intermediate variety and can make a good transition from intermediate to long days. It is a consistent yielder and a uniform producer of jumbo and colossal bulbs and holds up well to mechanical harvest.

Thumbelina carrots are tender and sweet with no need to peel! It is the perfect bit size for fresh eating, stews and salads. Thumbelina's small size makes it a great choice for heavy or shallow soils or containers. No wonder it is an All-America Selections Winner from 1992!

The Vivian lettuce is a tightly bunched romaine with broad dark green crisp leaves. Its leaves are 12-16 in. long and 4-6 in. across. Vivian is bolt resistant and suitable for commercial and home growers. Its erect dark green leaves are great for baby leaf production.

Snowball Y Improved cauliflower is a popular open pollinated variety! This cauliflower is known for its vigorous, rapid growth and long harvest. Its head is snow-white and measures 7-8" inches across. Give this cauliflower fertile soil, full sun and steady moisture and you'll be rewarded with large, delicious heads that are high in vitamin C.

Sugar Sprint Pea will sprint into the production of delicious peas! This fast maturing, heavy producing pea plant is one of the earliest maturing peas available. This pea variety produces 3" stringless snap peas over a long period. Sugar Sprint is heat tolerant and resistant to powdery mildew.

Big, pink fruit with outstanding flavour is a cross of Big Dwarf and Brandywine. An outstanding heirloom-hybrid with much higher yielding and earlier to mature than its heirloom parents, with all of the great flavor and fewer blemishes. Regular-leaved plants bear pink beefsteaks that weigh 12 to 16 ozs. and have all the wonderful taste of the original heirlooms. Matures in 75-80 days.

The Golden Jubilee Tomato has a meaty, thick, golden-orange skin with a mild flavor and is an All American Selection winning tomato! This medium sized beefsteak has low acidity and high Vitamin C content, making it a great choice for fresh eating and perfect for home gardens! This tomato variety's fruits are produced in a heavy yield from upright and uniform indeterminate vines, which makes this variety easy to manage. Darkibor is darker-green in comparison to Winterbor and Starbor. Matures a bit slower than the others but grows on sturdy stalks, with tight curl and close internodes.

Iceberg Lettuce is the tried and true lettuce that is an easy to grow, slow bolting crisphead. This variety has proven to be one of the most popular crispheads for years! VK Early is a fast growing corn variety that grows to 6-7’ tall with ears reaching 7.5-8.5" long. Kernels tend to be mostly yellow with some brown or maroon finish. Yields well for an open-pollinated variety with mostly flinty type ears.

Bush Champion II is an improvement from earlier varieties with big, meaty, extra-early maturing fruit is produced on compact, 24" plants. More productive and widely adapted. Can be grown staked, but not essential. Determinate.

The Dwarf Grey Sugar Pea is one of our customer favorite peas! Produces an abundance of attractive purple and blue flowers.
