At Urban Farmer, we carry 100% pure wildflower seeds of the highest quality and germination. We offer superior quality wildflowers for a wide range of geographic locations, growing conditions and custom blends.

This mixture contains a wide variety of colors and textures and is suitable for fresh cut flowers as well as dried flowers. Flowers that are cut and dried can be used in winter bouquets when fresh flowers are no longer available. Many species have stiff, papery petals or bracts while still attached to the living plant. To dry flowers, cut stems and tie together. Hang upside down in a dark, well-ventilated room for 3-5 weeks. Money Plant is cut and dried when seed pods are fully developed. This mix should be planted at 14-28 pounds per acre or 10 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Midwest Blend contains wildflower species that are native to or naturalized to the Midwest US and will brighten up any landscape. This blend is formulated for IL, IN, IA, eastern KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, eastern NE, OH, WI, southern Manitoba and Ontario. Plant at a rate of 5-10 pounds per acre or 4 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft.

The Michigan Blend contains a variety of native wildflowers that are formulated specifically for growing in Michigan and midwestern climates. This wildflower mix contains flowers native to or naturalized to Michigan. Plant at a rate of 5-10 pounds per acre or 4 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft.

The Ohio Blend is a mix of wildflowers that are native, naturalized and formulated specifically for Ohio and its midwestern climate. Plant at a rate of 5-10 pounds per acre or 4 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft.

A special mix of flowers that grab everyones attention. The species in this mix are native to or naturalized to the Northeast US, east of Ohio and north of North Carolina. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

This mixture contains annuals and perennials that are native to the Midwestern United States and south central Canada. This area includes Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, eastern Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, eastern Nebraska, Ohio, Wisconsin, southern Manitoba and Ontario. Plant at a rate of 8-16 pounds per acre or 6 ounces per 1,000 sq. ft.

This mix contains annuals and perennials that are native to the northwestern United States and extreme western Canada. This area includes northern California, western Oregon, western Washington and coastal British Columbia. Use it for elevations below 7,000 feet elevation. For higher elevations, see our Mountain Native Mix. Sow at a rate of 6 oz per 1,000 sq.ft. or 9-18 lbs. per acre.

The Hummingbird Blend is a mixture that provides a season-long smorgasbord of wildflowers to attract hummingbirds to the garden. If hummingbirds naturally occur in your area, this annual and perennial blend will attract them in abundance to your garden. Plant 5-10 pounds per acre or 4 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Tennessee Blend is a well adapted mix of native wildflowers to Tennessee that are specifically formulated to grow well in the Southeast climate.

The Bee Feed Blend is a mix of annual and perennial wildflowers that provide nectar and pollen to wild bees, honey bees and other pollinators. This blend is well suited for maintained landscapes such as garden beds, borders and managed meadows. The Bee Feed Blend contains early, mid and late blooming flowers in order to provide bee forage all season long. These wildflowers are suitable for short-tongued and long-tongued bees and come in a wide range of colors for an attractive display. This mix should be planted at 6-12 lbs. per acres and for smaller areas, use 5-6 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Northeast Native Blend is a beautiful combination of annual and perennial wildflowers that are native to the northeastern region. This blend is most suitable for Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C. and West Virginia. The Red White & Blue is an annual and perennial wildflower mixture that is a blend of patriotic flower colors and our most popular color-themed mixture! This mix should be planted at 6-12 pounds per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

A beautiful mix of popular flowers that are native to the Southwest region. Texas wildflower mix is stunning to the eyes and will last for some years after the first planting.

The Eastern Pollinator Blend is a wildflower mixture for pollinator conservation in the eastern United States and southeast Canada. The western planting boundary would be a line straight south from the eastern borders of North and South Dakota. This mix contains a balanced blend of native annuals and perennials that provide nectar and pollen throughout the growing season. If you have specific mix requirements for pollinator conservation projects, please contact us regarding a custom mix for your area. Plant at 5 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft. or 7-14 lbs. per acre.

The Deer Resistant Blend is a beautiful mixture of annual and perennial wildflowers that are known to be resistant to deer browsing. Keep in mind that if natural food supplies are low, or local populations of deer are dense, even these plants may be browsed by deer. This mix should be planted at 5-10 pounds per acre or 4 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Detention Basin Mix is composed of tenacious species that can tolerate areas that are flooded periodically by water. This mix should be planted at 35 pounds per acre or 13 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Edible Flower Blend is an annual and perennial mixture of an array of colorful and tasty edible flowers that are perfect to grow in your backyard. The wildflowers in this mix have a tangy, spicy, peppery, sweet floral, licorice or minty flavor. This mix should be planted at 13-26 pounds per acre or 10 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The monarch Butterfly Blend is a wildflower mix for butterfly lovers that is specifically made for attracting Monarchs to the garden. This mix of annuals and perennials are what Monarch's prefer to visit for nectar and lay their eggs. Planting rate of 12-24 pounds per acre or 8 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.
