Delhi 34 is a Bright Leaf Flu-cured tobacco tolerant of weather fleck and black root rot. It is tall growing reaching up to 7 feet including the flower head, with more leaves and less suckers than most varieties. The upright leaves are spaced closely on the stalk and shed water well in heavy rains and winds. The leaves turn a lighter green as it starts to mature, and become a light yellow green when ripe. Samsun tobaccos originated in the Samsun region of Turkey near the Black Sea. Samsun Maden is a sub strain of the original Samsun with a lighter colored leaf and milder flavor. The plant has columnar shape with the characteristic heart-shaped leaf with a fringed petiole. It reaches an height of 6 feet with 22-28 leaves averaging 12 to 15 inches in width and 16 to 18 inches in length. It reaches maturity in 50-55 days, ripens early and is usually sun cured. It makes a good stand alone cigarette, and is very good for cigarette and pipe blends.
Burley 64 is a columnar formed plant growing to 6' in height, and reaches maturity in about 65 days. It is a white stemmed burley with large light green leaves that turn bright yellow as they ripen. It gives good yields with very little suckering, and cures easily, either stalk hung or primed. Burley 64 is resistant to black root rot, tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, and black shank.
A bright leaf variety that was imported by the USDA from Columbia in 1967. A tall grower that reaches a height of 5-6'. Leaves grow close together with inverted cones. Produces a sweet mild flavor with a slightly nutty taste, and is an excellent cigarette or pipe tobacco. It can be used in a blend, or on its own. Costello has a nicotine content at 2.4%. The leaves air cure to a light brown to a dark reddish brown.

Ainaro is a variety of Dark sun-cured leaf. It was collected from the tobacco garden of a simple home outside the town of Ainaro, by Anton Eise DeVries, during his exploration of Timor Leste in 2016. The most distinctive characteristic of its large leaves is their petiole (bare leaf stem), suggestive of some pre WW2, Japanese cigar varieties. It can be stalk-cut, and sun-cured on the stalk, or primed. The finished leaf has a spicy character. It also cooks into a tasty Cavendish. Suitable for pipe blending.
The Hamburg Rooted Parsley is a unique looking, old heirloom variety that is used for both its delicious leaves and roots! This parsley is mostly grown for its large roots that make superb soups and stews, but its leaves are also tasty in sauces or as a garnish.
Comstock Spanish is an heirloom variety classified as a cigar binder but also makes an excellent wrapper. It was developed in Wisconsin in the late 1800's after the civil war. It is believed it was developed from Wisconsin Havana Seed but was called a "spanish" variety, named after a pioneer grower. It grows to a height of 4 1/2' with leaves 12"-14" wide and 24"-26" long. Maturity is in 45-50 days. Plants average 20-22 harvestable leaves which are strong and have good elasticity when cured. The leaves droop downward with down turned edges when ripe.

PY KY 171 is a pale yellow breeding line that is agronomically comparable to KY 171. It is a dark fire-cured tobacco with high resistance to black root rot, wildfire, and TMV. The plants grow to a height of 5-6 feet to the flower and produce from 14 to 17 leaves per plant. The leaves grow in a semi- erect position, averaging 11-13 inches in width and 24-30 inches in length with good overall yields. Maturity is in 60-65 days. The leaves turn yellow about 4 weeks after topping, whereas, KY 171 stays green making the "PY" strain easier to color cure. Nicotine level by dry weight 5.31% compared to 4.70% for KY 171.
