Mohawk Rustica is native to Central America as was widely cultivated by Native Americans and grown through out the southern US. It grows to 3' in height and is similar to Aztec, but with less branching. The leaves are thick, dark green in color and are among the largest of any Rustica variety. The flowers are a bright yellow and are densely packed. Mohawk is very high in nicotine content.

In 2006, the Guinness Book of Records confirmed that New Mexico State University had discovered the world's hottest chile pepper, the wrinkled, scarlet Bhut Jolokia. At 1,001,304 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), the Red Bhut Jolokia is nearly twice as hot as Red Savina, the Chile pepper variety it replaced as the world's hottest. In comparison, a New Mexico Green chile contains about 1,500 SHUs and an average jalapeno measures at about 10,000 SHUs. Use with caution.

Krug Dent corn is an old commercial variety. First bred by Illinois farmer George Krug in 1921. George W. Krug started experimenting with corn in 1906 to develop a corn that would be more productive for his 100 acre estate. George started his seed line by mixing two strains called Improved World's Fair and Iowa Gold Mine with a couple of bushels of good-looking seed which he purchased at a farm sale. The qualities he selected for included weight, luster, smoothness, freedom of excessive starch and high oil content. He entered his corn in the county farm bureau yield test in 1919, and topped the field in 1920 and 1921 among 118 growers who entered these tests. Hereafter Krug Dent became famous and was sought after everywhere. George Krug however was a very modest man and did not collect a royalty from any of those using his name in producing "Krug Corn." all he wanted was a better corn for his farm.

Stop Rot is great for preventing and stopping bottom rot on tomatoes, melons, cucumbers and peppers. Helps correct calcium deficiencies. Tomato blossom-end rot is a disorder caused by calcium deficiency. The disorder can be aggravated by the application of too much nitrogen fertilizer to tomato plants. Blossom-end rot appears as a round, brown sunken area on the end of the tomato fruit opposite the stem. As a fruit ripens the area turns dry and leathery. The disorder often appears after a period of rapid growth followed by dry conditions, or in periods of heavy rain that caused calcium to leach from the soil.
