Delhi 34 is a Bright Leaf Flu-cured tobacco tolerant of weather fleck and black root rot. It is tall growing reaching up to 7 feet including the flower head, with more leaves and less suckers than most varieties. The upright leaves are spaced closely on the stalk and shed water well in heavy rains and winds. The leaves turn a lighter green as it starts to mature, and become a light yellow green when ripe. It Flu cures to a bright yellow gold and air cures to a light golden brown with good yields. Days to Maturity: 60-65 days, Plant Height: 60-70 inches, Leaf Count: 18-24

The Hamburg Rooted Parsley is a unique looking, old heirloom variety that is used for both its delicious leaves and roots! This parsley is mostly grown for its large roots that make superb soups and stews, but its leaves are also tasty in sauces or as a garnish.

A relative or Oregano with a zesty flavor. Originally from the Mediterranean this spice has been used for centuries to flavor meals. Combines flavors of sweet marjoram, thyme and oregano all in one!

Mount Pima is usually classified as a Rustica, although this may be incorrect. It has the characteristic typical of N. Tobaccums. The leaves are large and pointed and it produces a pink flowers typical of tobaccum varieties, instead of the rounded leaves and yellow flowers of Rusticas. It grows to 3-4 feet in height and is very hardy. Leaves cure to a light brown and are mild to smoke.

Papante is a primitive variety that likely comes from southeastern area of the Mexican state of Sonora. A specimen is on display at the Conservation Center in Tucson, AZ. The plant's general appearance resembles that of both Little Dutch and Mountain Pima, though the leaf is a much darker green. It has been incorrectly listed and sold as Nicotiana rustica. Air-cures to a soft, light brown. Useful for cigarette, pipe blending and cigar filler. It’s relatively square secondary vein angle allows it to be used for cigar wrapper or binder. Rue produces attractive blue-green and pungently bitter foliage that have great medicinal uses as being an antispasmodic. This hardy perennial is an ornamental plant is lovely in the garden.

The Pistou Basil is a very petite variety with an excellent spicy taste that is delicious as a garnish or made into a sauce. This basil variety produces uniform mid-size, dense green leaves, perfect for growing in small pots. This small, compact plant has a nice, beautiful round body.

Vesta 64 is a well developed bright leaf Virginian type tobacco that grows up to 4 1/2 to 5 feet in height to the crows foot. The plant produces from 18 to 20 leaves on average that measure 20 to 26 inches in length and 10 to 12 inches wide. It reaches maturity in 55-60 days. The leaf air cures to a light golden brown, or flu cures to a bright yellow. It is a vigorous grower and is a black shank resistant.

L'Assomption 201 is a cigar filler variety developed in Canada, at the L'Assomption Experimental Station during the 1930s. It is useful for as a cigar wrapper, binder and filler. The plant reaches a height of 4 1/2 to 5' at the crows foot and produces an average of 18 leaves. It reaches maturity in 50-55 days. It can be primed or stalk-cut or stalk-cured and air-cures easily to a deep, medium brown.

The Italian Oregano is a widely grown perennial that is most known for its small, flavorful leaves that add a delicious pungent taste to any dish! Used fresh or dried, the Italian Oregano will add that extra "bam" to all your Italian, Spanish and Mexican dishes.

A bright leaf variety that was imported by the USDA from Columbia in 1967. A tall grower that reaches a height of 5-6'. Leaves grow close together with inverted cones. Produces a sweet mild flavor with a slightly nutty taste, and is an excellent cigarette or pipe tobacco. It can be used in a blend, or on its own. Costello has a nicotine content at 2.4%. The leaves air cure to a light brown to a dark reddish brown.

The Triple Curled Parsley has beautifully intense triple curled leaves with dark green stems that look great as a garnish. This is a popular variety that is easy to grow, clean and harvest.

The Siam Queen Basil is a newer variety of basil that is perfect for adding into any Thai cuisine, especially fish and beef dishes! This variety's young shoots are perfect for a continual harvest throughout the whole season.

Yellow Orinoco is an heirloom bright leaf which originated from the Virginian Orinoco's. It grows to 5' producing an average of 16 leaves per plant below the crows foot. It matures early at 55 days. Suckering is low, and is less than with White Stemmed or Frog Eye Orinoco. Leaves are light to medium green and average 12" to 14" wide and 24" to 26" long, with yields of 3 oz of dried leaf per plant. Leaves air cure to a light brown.

Yumbo is a primitive strain of tobacco grown by the Yumbo tribe in the upper Amazon basin. It grows to 3' in height and matures in 45-50 days. The thick leaves are a dark green color averaging 9"-12" in width, and 14"-16" in length. The edges turn yellow when ripe and cured leaf has a nicotine content of 1.8%.

Samsun tobaccos originated in the Samsun region of Turkey near the Black Sea. Samsun Maden is a sub strain of the original Samsun with a lighter colored leaf and milder flavor. The plant has columnar shape with the characteristic heart-shaped leaf with a fringed petiole. It reaches an height of 6 feet with 22-28 leaves averaging 12 to 15 inches in width and 16 to 18 inches in length. It reaches maturity in 50-55 days, ripens early and is usually sun cured. It makes a good stand alone cigarette, and is very good for cigarette and pipe blends.

Harrow Velvet is a medium flavored Burley with excellent curability and a short aging time. It has a columnar plant form with tightly spaced leaves which are very uniform in size. Almost no suckering. Leaves grow to 24" inches long by 14" wide when mature. Will go from green to golden yellow when fully mature. Leaf cures to a medium buckskin brown. An excellent plant for priming or to cut and hang whole. Very good wind resistance.

The Lettuce Leaf Basil has very large, hand sized, creased leaves that resembles a lettuce leaf, but has a great traditional basil flavor! This great production basil variety is favored among farmers and people who like a lot of basil due to its yields produces lots of foliage.
