Burley 21 is heirloom Burley variety that is a long time favorite of growers. Its history dates back over 200 years. It grows to 6-7 feet and is a reliable producer of large heavy leaf. It does well in a wide range of climates, and matures in 65-70 days. The leaves make a strong full flavored smoke that is commonly used as a blend in cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobaccos.
KY15 is a white stemmed high yielding Kentucky Burley. It has multiple disease resistance with excellent yield potential. Forms a plant with closely packed leaves with almost no suckers. Leaves turn yellow as they ripen, curling down around the edges. Excellent for curing and hanging stalks. The leaves dry to a light orange brown. Highly resistant to tobacco mosaic virus, wild-fire, and black root rot. Medium to high resistance to Fusarium wilt and tolerance to TEV.
Jasmine is a fast growing ornamental that can be planted in early spring. It starts blooming in only 3 weeks after transplant and produces a profusion of sweet smelling flowers that last all summer long. The flowers close during the day and reopen in the late afternoon. Pennsylvania Red is a rich full flavored tobacco and a long time favorite of cigar makers as a filler or binder. It grows to 5' in height and has very large long deep colored leaves reaching 3' in length. A very good producer with leaves cure to a deep reddish brown.
Black Sea Samsun originated in the Samsun region of Turkey near the Black Sea. It's prized for rich flavor and aroma, but yet mild to smoke. It grows 4'-5' in height and matures in 65-70 days, and is often sun cured. An excellent blend for cigarettes or pipes, or on its own.
The Cherry Red Tobacco plant is a cigarette and cigar tobacco that is also a great ornamental herb that produces big, bright yellow-green leaves. This Bright Leaf variety is a heavy producing tobacco plant that can grow to be over 7 feet tall. The Cherry Red plant yields over 25 big leaves per plant that are 24" long and 15" wide.
Olor produces a leaf of very good quality. The plant grows to 6' with little to no suckering. The leaves are light green, sharply pointed and average 14" wide and 20" to 22" long, becoming yellow as they ripen. Corojo 99 is a hybrid decedent of the original El Corojo seed from Cuba in the 1930's. It is sometimes called a sister of Habano 2000. Corojo 99 is larger and much more disease resistant than the original strain, but still produces a dark brown silky grained wrapper with with a rich spicy cedar aroma. It is one of a few wrappers that does well in both sun or shade. The plants grow to 7-8 feet in height and produce 18 - 20 leaves on average. Maturity is 75-80 days from planting.
Mohawk Rustica is native to Central America as was widely cultivated by Native Americans and grown through out the southern US. It grows to 3' in height and is similar to Aztec, but with less branching. The leaves are thick, dark green in color and are among the largest of any Rustica variety. The flowers are a bright yellow and are densely packed. Mohawk is very high in nicotine content.
American 572 is a tall plant with an aromatic high grade leaf. Excellent for air drying or flu curing. Considered one of the best varieties of Americana.
Habano 2000 is derived from a crossing between the variety Corojo and a Cuban dark tobacco, the Habano 2.1.1, from which is derived its resistance to the Gray Mold. Grown in direct sun. it reaches an average height of 6 feet with 14-16 leaves per plant. In very rich soils it can develop up to 18 leaves per plant. Sun grown plants are often used as a binder or filler. Grown under a shade cloths, Habano 2000 makes an excellent wrapper.
Fast growing tobacco that is great for very short growing seasons. It can be planted out earlier than many other tobaccos and mature plants are frost tolerant. It is mild to smoke but has a high nicotine content.

Burley 64 is a columnar formed plant growing to 6' in height, and reaches maturity in about 65 days. It is a white stemmed burley with large light green leaves that turn bright yellow as they ripen. It gives good yields with very little suckering, and cures easily, either stalk hung or primed. Burley 64 is resistant to black root rot, tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, and black shank.
Florida Sumatra is an heirloom tobacco that makes an excellent cigar wrapper when shade grown. It grows to 6 feet in height with leaves averaging 24 inches long and 15 inches wide.
Golden Burley is a medium flavored Burley with excellent curability. The leaves grow up to 30" long by 12" wide, and turn a bright lemon yellow when ripe. Plants grow 5 to 6 feet in height with little to no suckering. Matures in 60-65 days after transplant. Air cures to a light buck skin brown color. The smoke is flavorful, yet mild. Requires less aging time than most Burleys.
Aztec Rustica is native to central and South America. It grows to 30" high with abundant bright yellow flowers that are very attractive to bees and hummingbirds. Flowering lasts up to two months. Leaves air cure to a medium to dark brown and produce a very mild flavored smoke. Aztec has a very high nicotine content. The leaves are often used by home gardeners to make a very effective insecticide by soaking them in water to make a "tea". The tea is then sprayed onto vegetables and flowers and lasts up to six weeks. Grows well in cool climates and tolerates frost.
Havana 142 is classified as a cigar binder but is often used in making chew. Many growers find it makes an excellent cigarette tobacco as well. A columnar plant which grows to a height of 4 feet, it matures in only 55 days. A good choice for areas with short growing seasons. Air cures to a light brown.
