Mei Qing Choi cabbage is a Shanghai pak choi type with good heat and cold tolerance and bolting resistance. In the U.S., this variety is harvested as baby pak choi. It is smaller than Joi Choi, weighing about a quarter of a pound. This pak choi has an excellent flavor and is extra tender.
The Piel De Sapo is an oval melon from Spain. This mottled green-yellow skinned cantaloup is 7-9 lb and 8-12" long. The Piel De Sapo has a sweet pale green to white flesh that is tender and a very hard rind. This common European and Spanish market grower is a fine keeper.
Produces an abundance of little snap peas that are delicious straight from the garden. This was one of our favorite snap peas in our trials at Urban Farmer. Little SnapPea Petite sets dainty, sweet, crunchy pods on a full-sized plant. Productive plants grow well in large containers, small gardens, or large gardens. Expect lots of crunchy, sweet, juicy, edible pod peas in about 65 days. In-ground plants will reach 80 inches, container-grown plants will be smaller.
