A newer hybrid from a find in a 2018 tomato trial! This determinate cocktail tomato has heavy sets of 2-ounce red fruits. Produces a wonderful flavor that has the perfect balance of acid and sugar. Produces a large abundance of cocktail sized tomatoes.

Beautiful bright yellow beans that grow on 5-6" pods. They grow straight and on large, upright plants. A flavorful bean with high disease resistance.

The Juane Canary Melon is an old heirloom football shaped melon with a canary yellow rind and a creamy, white to green flesh. This 4-5 pound melon has a delicious sugar sweet taste that is perfect for summer picnics! This variety will keep well in full sun.

The Brown Russian cucumber looks like it came from another planet, and is fitting because the taste is out of this world! The brown-skinned 6-8" cucumbers have a clear white flesh that has a crisp, mellow flavor sparked with sugary high notes and no bitterness. This cucumber is best harvested at 5-7" in. long, prolific and hardy.

Produces an abundance of little snap peas that are delicious straight from the garden. This was one of our favorite snap peas in our trials at Urban Farmer. Little SnapPea Petite sets dainty, sweet, crunchy pods on a full-sized plant. Productive plants grow well in large containers, small gardens, or large gardens. Expect lots of crunchy, sweet, juicy, edible pod peas in about 65 days. In-ground plants will reach 80 inches, container-grown plants will be smaller. For Pea shoots, this variety grows quickly (10 days) and has delicate round leaves and fresh flavor-tastes just like spring peas! The texture is crisp but tender, and plants have long internodes and smallish leaves.

Jameson Bean is a popular and versatile variety of bean known for its exceptional taste and rich history. These beans are classified as a bush bean, which means they grow in a compact, bushy fashion without the need for support structures. Jameson Beans are typically small to medium-sized, oval-shaped, and boast a creamy texture with a slightly nutty and earthy flavor profile. They are a beloved choice for both fresh consumption and canning due to their outstanding taste. With a historical background dating back decades, Jameson Beans have been a favorite among home gardeners and commercial growers alike. They have a relatively short maturity period, typically taking around 50 to 55 days to reach full maturity from the time of planting. The beans themselves are often a vibrant green color, making them visually appealing in a variety of dishes. In terms of growing characteristics, Jameson Beans exhibit good disease resistance, particularly against common bean diseases such as rust and bean common mosaic virus. The yield per row can vary depending on factors such as soil quality and care, but they tend to be productive plants, providing a substantial harvest. It is recommended to space the plants about 2-4 inches apart in rows that are approximately 18-24 inches apart. These beans thrive in well-drained soil and require full sun for optimal growth, making them a reliable choice for both novice and experienced gardeners.

The Spookie Pumpkin is a very uniform pumpkin with a great tasting inside. This high yielding, dark orange pumpkin grows to be 6-8" around, weighing about 5-6 lbs. Spookie is a cross between Sugar Pie and Jack O' Lantern, with vines yielding very uniform, excellent quality fruits that make for a great cooking and decorative pumpkin.

The China Rose Radish is a tasty rose colored radish with peppery undertones. This long radish variety with 5 inch long roots is one of the oldest heirloom radishes around. The China Rose is a very hardy type that can be grown year round.

The Red Garnet Amaranth is a beautiful sprout that has many uses! The Red Garnet Amaranth can be used as a sprouting seed, cooked green or allowed to flower for a dramatic display in the garden or grow it for grain! Some folks share this grain with the birds attracting beautiful buntings, goldfinches and other flying jewels. Time to Sprout: 3-6 Days

Produces large plants that grow upright stems. The uniform, semi-globe shaped thickened stem grows to 4" or more with a green skin. Leaves are dark green. Pick when tender as stems become fibrous with age.

Big Flat Head cabbage seeds produce a classic heirloom variety believed to have originated in Eastern Europe, where it has long been prized for its large size, sweet flavor, and versatility. The plants form massive, broad, flattened heads that can weigh 6-9 pounds or more, with tightly packed, pale green leaves that are crisp yet tender. This cabbage thrives in cool weather and fertile, well-drained soil rich in organic matter, taking about 90–100 days to mature. Consistent moisture and full sun help the heads reach their impressive size. Known for its mild, slightly sweet flavor and crunchy texture, Big Flat Head cabbage is excellent for fresh salads, slaws, stir-fries, and traditional sauerkraut.

The White Bell Pepper is a translucent white to pale yellow colored bell pepper with a crisp, sweet flavor. This pepper variety produces an abundance of white bell fruits. These peppers turn from translucent to pale yellow when mature. The White Bell is a great addition to any salad or meal.

The Great White Tomato is an award winning white beefsteak tomato! This unique variety has a creamy inside that grows up to 12 ounces. The Great White is an excellent big multi-purpose slicer with an unique color and a great taste that is low in acid.

The beautiful Moranga squash's name comes from the traditional Brazilian dish called 'Camarão na moranga' which also means 'shrimp in a squash.' This squash is also known as the 'Pink Pumpkin.' The Moranga can get to be 4-8 pounds and range in color from light pink to salmon.

The Sweet Dumpling Squash has a very sweet, deep orange flesh that is excellent for stuffing. This winter squash is a small, 4"  teacup-shaped fruit that grows up to 1 lb. in size. This variety grows on medium length vines. The Sweet Dumpling's skin is a creamy ivory color with dark green stripes and is a great squash to serve as a single-serving.

Dipper is one of the most beautiful and fall themed gourds we have! These gourds have been dried out and used for years as many different things! Dipper Gourds produce a 12" long by 5" in diameter gourd. Very easy to grow in the summer time heat.
