Silver King corn is a sweet, all-white hybrid variety prized for its tender, juicy kernels and mild, delicious flavor. The Silver King is earlier than the Silver Queen variety and every bit as tasty. This corn is a Sugar Enhanced (SE) corn type that is amongst the earliest corns to mature. With slightly larger ears than of 16 to 18 tightly packed rows of snowy white kernels pack every ear of this succulent corn! Thomas Laxton is an heirloom pea plant that is big and productive. At Urban Farmer we have trialed these a few times and they are always are favorite shelling pea. The peas are always sugary and delicious. This pea variety is named after the famous pea breeder, Thomas Laxton. This old heirloom pea is over a century old and has withstood the test of time. Each pod contains at least 8 peas and often up to 10! Make sure to support the Thomas Laxton's 3' vines with a trellis.

The Pike melon is a very sweet melon variety that was bred in the 1930s. The sweet fragrant fruit is heavily netted on the outside with a juicy orange flesh. These melons can weigh 3-6 pounds depending on growing conditions.

The Lucullus Swiss Chard produces highly nutritious leaves from early spring until the first hard freeze in the fall. This variety produces great during the summer heat. This chard is a very popular variety grown throughout the United States.

The Jubilee corn variety is an old-time favorite corn. Jubilee is one of the most popular varieties we sell and is excellent for late summer enjoyment. Its stalks reach 6 feet tall, and the 9 inch ears have deep, tender yellow kernels. You can pick it right off the stalk and cook for dinner. Carousel is an open-pollinated variety that produces 3.5" long miniature ears of popcorn. Some ears are solid red, the others are multicolored: white, yellow, and blue. When popped the flakes are crispy with very little hull. Plants are up to eight feet tall with two or three ears per plant.
