Sweet peppers are the most popular type of pepper in home gardens. Sweet peppers come in a variety of shapes in sizes but the Bell pepper is most common. The Marconi Red Pepper is an Italian sweet pepper. This pepper variety is a very sweet thin-skinned pepper that changes from green to red with maturity and has 3-5 lobes.

This pepper is a great choice for Northern gardeners. Wisconsin Lakes was bred by Wisconsin University in the1960s and it produce a good reliable harvest of early bell peppers.

The Mariachi Pepper is a 2006 All American Selection winner! This colorful pepper has just a bit of mildly hot heat. The compact 18-24" plants yield loads of 4", coned shaped peppers that change brilliantly from creamy yellow to bright red all summer. Avg. 4,690 seeds/oz. Packet: 10 seeds.

The Ashe County Pimento is a super sweet, bright red pepper that is perfect for fresh eating, baking, roasting, canning and pickling! This multi-use pepper is from the North Carolina Smoky Mountains. The Ashe County Pimento is a stocky high yielding, early producer that supports heavy sets of 4 inch peppers. This pimento pepper will add a sweet kick to any dish!

The Salsa Pepper is a mid-early variety of sweet Kapia for open field and greenhouse production. This pepper variety is very strong and productive, with good flower setting in warm climates. This variety is a round, oblate, and gorgeously ribbed pepper. The Pimento is great for long time storage and has an excellent crispy flesh with a delicious zesty flavor. Originated in Ohio, the Pimento is a vigorous producer in northern climates.
