When to Plant:
Sow as soon as the soil can be worked. For transplants sow indoors 2-3 weeks before planting. Continually plant every two weeks up until 6 weeks before first expected frost in the fall.
Use a high phosphorous fertilizer (8-16-16) two weeks before planting at 2-3 lbs per 100 sq. ft.
