Growing cut flowers in your garden is satisfying and beautiful experience. Nothing is easier than walking out into the garden and cutting some blooming flowers to bring indoors. These cut flower varieties are reliable, beautiful and smell great!

The Marmalade Rudbeckia is a dwarf variety that has large, golden-orange flowers that will bloom from summer to early fall! This flower grows to be two feet tall, and flowers are up to five inches across. It is a versatile plant that can be used in flower beds, borders, cutting gardens and large containers.

Blacknight Hollyhock (Alcea rosea 'Blacknight') is a striking, tall-growing perennial known for its deep, almost black, maroon-purple blooms that add dramatic contrast to garden borders and cottage-style landscapes. Part of the renowned "Spotlight Series," this hollyhock variety typically reaches heights of 5 to 6 feet and produces single, saucer-shaped flowers on sturdy, upright stems from mid to late summer. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies while also being relatively deer-resistant. The Imperial Mix Delphinium blooms bushy, brightly colored blooms that makes an excellent cut flower that attracts many beneficial insects. This Mediterranean annual produces spires of pink, blue, lavender, rose and white flowers. This variety can be grown in full sun or partly shaded areas and tends to be a good re-seeder. The Imperial Mix Delphinium is a great cut flower and can be used in the wildlife garden to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.  

'Baby Blue' is a common florist's staple as a bouquet filler. This plant is known for its long stems with rounded leaves in shades of dusty green. Great for bouquets, wreaths or drying. Eucalyptus has a lovely menthol-like fragrance. A tender perennial in USDA zones 9–11 but mainly grown by florist as an annual. As an annual, plants reach about 24"–48", but it can become a 35'-tall tree over time where perennial. This plant is very drought and heat tolerant once established.

The Double Click Cosmo produces large double blooms that range in shades of carmine, pink and white, making this a beautiful cut flower. Contains fully-double and semidouble blooms make this a great  garden addition. Cosmos are also known as garden cosmos. The Double Click grows to a height of 36-44".

These zinnias produce large, dahlia-like flowers up to 5 inches across on sturdy stems that can reach 3–4 feet tall, making them a standout in garden beds and floral arrangements. Easy to grow and highly productive, they thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, and should be sown directly after the last frost or started indoors 4–6 weeks earlier. With a fast growth cycle of 75–90 days to maturity, they require regular watering, deadheading for continuous blooms, and occasional spacing to promote airflow and prevent mildew. The Lemon Queen Sunflower produces an abundance of bright, pale yellow blooms surrounding a dark chocolate brown center. This variety produces 4" blooms that look lovely in a bouquet or vase.

Yellow Quartet sports strong stems that support beautiful sprays of sweetly-scented yellow flowers. Stock flowers are ideally suited for bouquets but can also be used as a spring bedding plant in some markets. Early to bloom in 13-15 weeks with 55% double flowers. Tulips are the most popular and most recognized flower in home gardens today. Tulips are available in many shapes, sizes, colors and seasons of bloom. Plant these this fall, and next spring, watch your neighbors turn their heads.Water in fall to help good root growth before ground freezes. Do not water in excess during summer when bulb is dormant.Care: Use low nitrogen fertilizer in fall and spring. After blooming leave foliage and water weekly. This will help with root growth. When leaves turn yellow and die back foliage may be removed. Placing mulch over plant during winter will help keep plant dormant and protected.Cut Flowers:Tulips make excellent cut flowers. Cut as many as needed and bring indoors to enjoy their beauty and scent.
