There are several great slicing tomato varieties available for home gardens. We have a large assortment of slicer tomatoes.

The Chef's Choice Orange is an All American Selection winner that is a prolific producer of juicy, bright orange tomatoes. The bright neon orange color of this unique variety spreads throughout the entirety of the tomato. The Chef's Choice Orange is not only popular for its unusual coloring, but also for having a wonderful flavor.

With their wide, slightly flattened shape, the Mater Sandwich Tomato is great for slicing and layering, making it the perfect sandwich variety! This tomato is a large, slightly flat deep red tomato that lies across a piece of bread perfectly, tempting you with bits of bright red showing on all four sides! It stays together well too, so you get its juicy-meaty flavor in every bite. The Mater Sandwich is the king of sandwiches!

The Floradade Tomato is a delicious, bright red variety that has a great ability to withstand heat and produce high yields! This variety was introduced by the University of Florida in 1976. This tomato plant produces smooth, 5-7 ounces sized tomatoes with slightly deep globes that have red with green shoulders.

The Ananas Noir Tomato, or also known as the Black Pineapple, is a beautiful, super sweet tomato originally from Belgium. This variety was introduced as "Pineapple" by Pascal Moreau in 2005. These non-vining tomatoes produce large 1-1.5 pound fruits. The delicious Ananas Noir has a sweet, rich flavor and a "tie-dyed" color in the interior when sliced open.

Perfect tomato for slicing and sandwiches. With a 4-5 week harvest window, these dark red fruits grow on a compact, uniform plant and offer good resistance to multiple diseases common to homegrown tomatoes.

The Black from Tula is a delicious Russian tomato that makes for a great slicer. This old Russian heirloom produces tomatoes with an unique deep purple color with a rich sweet flavor. The Black from Tula is widely known as one of the best flavored dark tomatoes and when mature, this variety grows up to 14 ounces.

The Black Sea Man Tomato is a fantastic tasting Russian heirloom that has a wonderful rich flavor when added to different dishes. This tomato variety is a small plant that produces good yields of medium-sized brownish-pink fruits that have a beautiful olive green shading. The Black Sea Man has a beautiful marbled flesh that gets even more attractive when blanched and peeled.

The Paul Robeson Tomato is an old fashioned Russian heirloom that has a very tasty flesh that is juicy with a great acid and sweet balance. This deep maroon colored variety is slightly flattened and round and grows up to 4." The Paul Robeson Tomato is an excellent choice for cooler growing regions.

A unique lemon color inside and out! These plants produce medium-sized fruits with beautiful and unique lemon yellow skin!

The Early Cascade Tomato is an early maturing bright red saladette type of tomato that has a wonderful fresh taste in salads! This very productive variety produces little 4 ounce vibrant tomatoes in clusters of 5-8 fruits.

The Trip-L-Crop Tomato is an extremely long and productive heirloom tomato plant variety that thrives in a greenhouse setting! This tomato produces huge yields on a 15 foot vine that needs a trellising. The large 1-2 lb. tomatoes are red, meaty and great for canning.

The Ace 55 Tomato is a heart, beefy, thick walled tomato variety with low acid content. This tomato type has a bright red color and can grow to about 12 oz. in size. The Ace 55 grows somewhat large on its disease resistant indeterminate vines. This favored variety is great for the farmers market!

The Amana Orange Tomato is a giant 1 pound beefsteak with a unique bright orange skin and a very juicy with an intensely flavored flesh! Bite into one of these and you won't forget the first time! This very attractive colored tomato  looks great with any meal. The Amana Orange tomato has become very popular since it's introduction in the 1980's.

Hillbilly tomatoes, also known as "Hillbilly Potato Leaf" tomatoes, are a unique and heirloom variety of tomato with a rich history dating back several decades. These tomatoes are renowned for their distinctive appearance and delicious flavor. The fruit size of Hillbilly tomatoes can vary, but they typically range from large to very large, often exceeding 1 pound (0.45 kg) per fruit. Their shape is irregular and somewhat flattened, with deep ribbing and prominent shoulders, giving them a rustic and charming aesthetic. The plants of Hillbilly tomatoes are known for their vigorous growth and can reach a height of 5 to 7 feet (1.5 to 2.1 meters). They have potato-like leaves, which is how they earned their "Potato Leaf" moniker. These tall and sprawling plants require ample space and support to accommodate their robust growth. Hillbilly tomatoes are indeterminate, meaning they continue to produce fruit throughout the growing season, making them a favorite among home gardeners. When it comes to growing conditions, Hillbilly tomatoes thrive in full sun with well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter. They prefer warm and consistent temperatures, making them suitable for summer cultivation in most regions. Adequate watering and regular pruning to encourage air circulation are essential for healthy plant development. Hillbilly tomatoes are cherished for their sweet and slightly tangy flavor, making them a popular choice for fresh salads, sandwiches, and canning due to their large fruit size and rich taste. Their unique appearance and historical significance make them a treasured addition to any garden or kitchen.  

The classic Burpee's Bush Big Boy Tomato is the same large, juicy favorite but has been made even better, especially for small-space gardeners. With this variety, you get the same number of tasty, big red tomatoes (10 to 11 oz. each), with the same sweet, aromatic, melt-in-your-mouth juiciness as the original, but the compact plants are only half the size!

The large Mortgage Lifter Tomato is an heirloom plant that has the best yields for beefsteak type varieties. The large, pink smooth tomato that reaches to be 1 pound! This variety was developed by M.C. Byles "Radiator Charlie", who had no formal plant breeding experience, and created this legendary tomato by cross-breeding four of the largest tomatoes he was able to find over six years. Once he got a stable variety, he offered it to the public saying that "one tomato could feed a family of 4." Gardeners drove from far away places just to get their hands on this variety! He sold each plant for $1 each and was able to pay off his $6,000 mortgage on his house, hence giving this tomato its name. The slightly flattened, pinkish-red tomatoes ranges from 1 pound all the way to 3 pounds and are meaty, very flavorful and only have few tomato seeds. The Indeterminate Mortgage Lifter is vigorous and one of our best sellers.

The Pineapple Tomato is a large, rich yellow-gold beefsteak variety that has a wonderfu very sweet, almost fruity, flavor. This tomato variety contains very few seeds and more solids, giving you more for your money. The Pineapple tomato is a high yielding tomato plant. The Pineapple gets its name for have a flavor that is sweet and fruity with a tangy, meaty after-bite.

The Siberian Tomato is a great variety for colder climates! This tomato variety matures fast and will produce heavy and early where shorter growing seasons prevail, like the norther states and Canada. This red oval, 2-4 ounce tomato grows on a compact plant that is fine for patio or container gardens.
