About Japanese Flowering, Cherry Seed

Japanese Flowering Cherry (Prunus serrulata) is the tree behind cherry blossom festivals, growing into a graceful, vase-shaped small tree with glossy bark and bronze-tinted new leaves that turn yellow to orange in fall. It is a lovely specimen for lawns, entryways and patios, and seedlings also make excellent understock for grafting.
