Agastache

Anise-scented foliage and upright purple flower spikes make native Agastache a lively addition to sunny gardens. These plants hum with bees and butterflies through the warmest part of summer, when nectar can be especially valuable. Their relaxed prairie character works naturally in pollinator borders, meadow plantings, and informal cottage gardens. Give them good drainage and room for air to move around the stems.
