Tips
Pests & Diseases
Powdery mildew, Botrytis, damping-off, and leaf spots are the likeliest problems on Chinese forget-me-not. Dense basal foliage holds moisture, so thin plants before flowering and remove spent stems. Seedlings that collapse at the soil line should be discarded along with the contaminated starting mix.
Common insect and slug problems on Chinese forget-me-not include aphids, thrips, mites, Japanese beetles, slugs, and caterpillars. Avoid treating on a schedule; confirm the pest, gauge the damage, and use the least disruptive effective control.
