Tips
Pests & Diseases
Remove decaying foliage and keep water reasonably clean to reduce rot and leaf-spot problems. Avoid burying the growing point or leaving newly sprouted seed in stagnant, fouled water.
Inspect new growth for aphids, caterpillars, and other chewing insects. A firm rinse or hand removal is usually sufficient in small water gardens; avoid broad-spectrum pesticides around aquatic wildlife.
