Lining Tuscan roads and villa gardens for centuries, Italian Cypress is the iconic evergreen of Mediterranean landscapes. Cupressus sempervirens has dense, dark green, scale-like foliage and an upright habit, with many trees forming the familiar narrow spire. It loves heat and sun and handles drought once established, making it a natural fit for formal gardens, driveways and dry-climate landscapes. Seed-grown trees vary in shape, ranging from slim columns to broader, more open forms.
