Planting

Start parsley indoors 8–10 weeks before the last spring frost or direct sow in early spring. Keep the medium consistently moist during its slow, sometimes uneven germination; moderate warmth helps. Provide strong light after emergence and thin to one seedling per cell. Thin or transplant parsley 6–8 inches apart.

Watering

Parsley grows best with even moisture. Water deeply during dry periods, allowing only slight surface drying between applications, and ensure containers or beds drain freely.
