The Carbon Tomato won the “Best Tasting Tomato Award” at the Heirloom Garden Show in 2005 and continues to rate very high in many taste tests! This tomato is one of the darkest of the “black tomato” varieties, and 10-12 oz. in size with a flattened round shape. This purplish-brown, "black" colored tomato has a deep brick red flesh and has a deliciously rich, sweet flavor. The fruit is medium to large, with a slightly flattened shape and a smooth, glossy skin. Carbon tomatoes are celebrated for their robust flavor profile, which blends sweet, tangy, and smoky notes, making them a versatile choice for fresh salads, sauces, and salsas. The plants are indeterminate, meaning they continue to grow and produce fruit throughout the growing season, typically reaching heights of 5 to 7 feet. They exhibit a vigorous growth habit and produce a steady yield of tomatoes from mid-summer to fall. Harvesting is usually done when the tomatoes have fully ripened and developed their deep color. With their rich flavor, striking color, and reliable productivity, Carbon tomatoes are a favorite among gardeners and culinary aficionados alike. 

Spring Raab is a sweet baby broccoli! Every part of the erect vigorous plant can be used for cooking, as it has a delicate delicious flavor. The Spring Raab adds texture and fine flavor to cooking. Organic - A very tender, colorful specialty kale for salad mix and bunching. This variety is a special, refined strain. Its stems are purple and leaves are deep gray-green with purple veins. This flat, noncurled, and tooth-edged kale has a wonderful taste. Red Russian matures medium-tall and leaves are tender compared to other kales.

The Snow Crown cauliflower is a delicious, mild and sweet hybrid. This cauliflower's head will get to 7-8 inches across and 1-2 pounds. The Snow Crown is extra early and adaptable and can be harvested in summer or fall. Be careful not to under-fertilize or water, stress can cause a purplish discoloration on the undersides of the head.

The Double Yield cucumber is an excellent variety for gherkins and dills. The slender cucumbers are 5-6" long by 2" diameter and remains a dark-green color longer than most cucumbers. The Double Yield cucumber plant has high yields and a high percentage of sets producing two cucumbers at each leaf joint!

We believe this is the best tasting tomato available and even beats Brandywine for flavor. Productive plants produce large crops of 12 oz. fruits. Excellent tomato flavor. This strain was obtained from J. D. Green in Tennessee and is thought to be from the Cherokee Nation. Plants are indeterminate, but seldom grow more than 4' tall.

The Sumter Cucumber is a favorite amongst many home gardeners and market growers for being a great slicer and pickling cucumber. This cucumber variety is a blocky medium-green fruit with white spines. The Sumter is well adapted for many different climates. This organic favorite is disease resistant.

The Italian Cocozelle is a bush type of squash plant that produces high yields of the long, tender, dark green fruits. This Italian zucchini is very flavorful and tender and a favorite that is now available in organic seeds. This variety is best when harvested at 12" long or smaller. The Cocozelle is excellent for slicing, frying, and steaming and is also a good freezing and canning variety. Pick often when the squash is young to prolong harvest. These tiny ornamental pumpkins are great for market sellers but also has excellent edible qualities. Bumpkin F1 has a semi bush plant habit with excellent yield potential. Fruit are 2" x 3" and weight about 1/4 lb. with dark orange color and strong dark green handles. An excellent pumpkin for novelty sales.
