Sacred Cornplanter is a very hardy fast grower and produces some of the largest leaves among Rustica varieties. Like other Rusticas, it has a high nicotine content but the leaves produce a very light and mild smoke. It makes a good addition to blends where a mild flavor but a higher nicotine content is desired.

Tansy is a beautiful yellow blooming herb that actually can help repel insects and may help deter ants and mice in the garden. This herb works better when its made into a tea and sprayed around the yard. If placed in a compost pile, Tansy will add potassium to it. Tansy will grow to be 2-3 feet in height.

The Tall Blue Cornflower produces a dazzling display of drought resistant, beautiful dark blue flowers that are attractive when cut or dried. This variety is an annual that will "naturalize" yearly when the seed drops. It readily comes back the next year to produce another crop of blue flowers. In warm climates, plant the Tall Blue in summer to early fall for winter bloom.

The Tall Coreopsis is a super high variety that lives up to its name by growing to be 7 feet high and has even been known to reach 9 feet! This variety blooms beautiful yellow flowers that darken to a purple-red. This flower's leaves are divided into three lobes. The Tall Coreopsis should be grown in larger areas as it can be aggressive in growth.

The Miscanthus Ornamental Grass is a new strain of grass that has a more vigor than previous types of ornamental grasses. This variety produces creamy flower plumes that top gracefully arching, striking leaves that turn a rich gold in fall. The Miscanthus can reach a height of 6-7 feet!

Shargo originated in eastern Europe and is a hybrid cross between a white stemmed Burley and a Turkish strain. It has a spicy flavor more like many Turkish strains. It can be cut and hung whole or primed and strung to cure and dry. The plants grow to 7-8 feet in height to the bloom producing 16-20 leaves ranging from 13-17 inches in width and 24-28 inches in length. Golden Burley is a medium flavored Burley with excellent curability. The leaves grow up to 30" long by 12" wide, and turn a bright lemon yellow when ripe. Plants grow 5 to 6 feet in height with little to no suckering. Air cures to a light buck skin brown color. The smoke is flavorful, yet mild. Requires less aging time than most Burleys.
