Corojo 99 is a hybrid descendant of the original El Corojo seed from Cuba in the 1930s. It is sometimes called a sister of Habano 2000. Corojo 99 is larger and much more disease resistant than the original strain, but still produces a dark brown silky grained wrapper with a rich spicy cedar aroma. It is one of a few wrappers that does well in both sun or shade. The plants grow to 7-8 feet in height and produce 18 - 20 leaves on average.

Negro Black Also called "Tabaco Negro" in Spanish, is a name for dark tobacco that is dark in color and strong in taste. Black or dark tobacco is primarily used in cigars and dark cigarettes. It is often slowly darkened by a long curing and fermenting process to give a dark brown to black tobacco with exceptionally mild smoking characteristics. Negro Black grows 5' to 6' in height with a classic Virginian type plant form and leaf shape. The leaves are a medium to dark green averaging 12" to 14" in width and 20" to 22" in length.

The Sweet Genovese Basil is a popular Italian variety that is prized for its large leaves, wonderful aroma and spicy flavor. If you are making pesto, than this is the basil for you! This basil variety's plants will grow to be 18-24” tall. Make successive sowings for a steady supply and make sure to dry or freeze some for winter use! This seed is certified organic.

Burley 9 is a high-yielding mid-season variety for air curing and drying. Leaves are light green, averaging 16" wide by 24" long. The leaves turn yellow as they ripen and dry to a light golden brown. Burley 9 is drought resistant and resistant to disease. 6%

NB 11 is a Burley tobacco developed in New Brunswick Canada. The pant reaches a height of 5' to the crows foot with 14 - 16 very thick and heavy weight leaves. The pyramidal plant form and low height gives it excellent resistance to wind and heavy rains.

It is a white stemmed burley with large light green leaves that turn bright yellow as they ripen. It gives good yields with very little suckering, and cures easily, either stalk hung or primed. Burley 64 is resistant to black root rot, tobacco mosaic virus, fusarium wilt, and black shank.

Burley 21 is heirloom Burley variety that is a long time favorite of growers. Its history dates back over 200 years. It grows to 6-7 feet and is a reliable producer of large heavy leaf. The leaves make a strong full flavored smoke that is commonly used as a blend in cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobaccos.

Bucak was developed in Turkey from a flu cured, bright leaf Virginian tobacco imported in the 1930's from the US. Averages 20 leaves per plant, 12"-14" wide and 22"-26" long. It tolerates heavy rains and wind well and will withstand early fall frosts with little or no damage. It air cures easily to a light brown.

The deliciously fresh, citrus lemon flavor of the Lemongrass is a very popular herb variety for its many different culinary uses. This lemongrass variety can be used to flavor teas, beverages, soups, and many other dishes. The lemongrass plant can reach up to 6 feet tall.

Bursa is one of the largest and heaviest producing varieties of Turkish tobacco, growing up to 8' with 30-34 harvestable leaves per plant. It's best to use staking for this giant tobacco. The unique flavor is spicy and sweet and the smoke is highly aromatic. Bursa is an excellent tobacco for a pipe or blending in cigarettes.

Mount Pima is usually classified as a Rustica, although this may be incorrect. It has the characteristic typical of N. Tobaccums. The leaves are large and pointed and it produces a pink flowers typical of tobaccum varieties, instead of the rounded leaves and yellow flowers of Rusticas. It grows to 3-4 feet in height and is very hardy. Leaves cure to a light brown and are mild to smoke.

The delicious aroma of the Sweet Marjoram is similar to oregano or thyme, but has a sweeter fragrance that adds a mild and fresh taste to different dishes. This variety is a compact plant with beautiful, edible flowers, which have a mild and marjoram-like flavor, and can be used to garnish salads, soups, stews, sauces, and stuffing. Both the leaves and flowers of the Sweet Marjoram pairs well with citrus, mushrooms and fish.

Catnip seeds grow into Nepeta cataria, a hardy perennial herb in the mint family that has been cultivated in Europe since ancient times and brought to North America by early settlers. Known for its gray-green, heart-shaped leaves and small clusters of lavender-white flowers, catnip thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, often self-seeding and spreading easily once established.

Comfrey is a hardy, drought tolerant plant that is easy to start from seed. A clumping herb comprised of multiple stalks, prefers well drained soil and full sun to partial shade. Grows between 36-48 inches. Comfrey will put nutrients into the soil, mulch trees, and shrubs, prevent weeds, feed livestock, attract beneficial pollinators, and make quick compost tea. Comfrey seed is by nature a low germination seed. On average expect 25% germination. It can also take 3-4 weeks for a comfrey seed to germinate.

Mohawk Rustica is native to Central America as was widely cultivated by Native Americans and grown through out the southern US. It grows to 3' in height and is similar to Aztec, but with less branching. The leaves are thick, dark green in color and are among the largest of any Rustica variety. The flowers are a bright yellow and are densely packed. Mohawk is very high in nicotine content.

The beautiful blush-pink flowers of Cumin plants are used to flavor many popular East Indian dishes! The beautiful foliage has a smell that is similar to dill. This herb's young leaves mix very well into salads. Cumin grows best in warmer climates, but will produce seeds in cooler northern climates if started early enough.

Magnolia is a cigar wrapper which produces a high quality oval shaped leaf averaging 16" wide by 20" to 24" long. It has little to no suckering before topping. The leaves turn a lighter green with yellowing tips and mottling when ripe.

An heirloom dark tobacco with a rich full flavor. It's often fire cured for use as a pipe or cigar tobacco. Its deep colored green leaves air cure to a dark brown. It grows 5 feet in height and matures early.

Lancaster Seed Leaf, grown extensively around Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is classified as a cigar filler. But its large leaves make it a good binder or wrapper as well. Cures to a deep brown color. The upper leaf can produce excellent "Pennsylvania maduro," for pipe blending.

Yumbo is a primitive strain of tobacco grown by the Yumbo tribe in the upper Amazon basin. It grows to 3' in height. The thick leaves are a dark green color averaging 9"-12" in width, and 14"-16" in length. The edges turn yellow when ripe and cured leaf has a nicotine content of 1.8%.

A lavender that produces flowers the first year from seed. Produces a more consistent and early flower blooms. Bright white spikes top silvery-green mounded plants with vigorous branching habit. 12-16" tall and 6-8" wide when mature.

The Vera Lavender is a very popular home garden lavender variety that produces a lovely, strong lavender scent that can be used to freshen up the home. This lavender variety has several uses including both culinary and medicinal properties. The Vera lavender plants grow to be 18" to 36" tall and produces a profusion of lilac-purple flowers on silvery foliage.

Yellow Orinoco is an heirloom bright leaf which originated from the Virginian Orinoco's. It grows to 5' producing an average of 16 leaves per plant below the crows foot. Suckering is low, and is less than with White Stemmed or Frog Eye Orinoco. Leaves are light to medium green and average 12" to 14" wide and 24" to 26" long, with yields of 3 oz of dried leaf per plant. Leaves air cure to a light brown.

Black Sea Samsun originated in the Samsun region of Turkey near the Black Sea. It's prized for rich flavor and aroma, but yet mild to smoke. An excellent blend for cigarettes or pipes, or on its own.
