Grow your own popcorn! These varieties are excellent for growing your own seed to pop some fresh popcorn before your next movie! The popcorn varieties have been chosen for their robust flavor and easy to grow nature.

Carousel is an open-pollinated variety that produces 3.5" long miniature ears of popcorn. Some ears are solid red, the others are multicolored: white, yellow, and blue. When popped the flakes are crispy with very little hull. Plants are up to eight feet tall with two or three ears per plant.

Strawberry popcorn can be used as ornamental or delicious popped corn! This beautiful popcorn is often grown for its ornamental quality, but has a delicious crunch and taste when used as a popped corn. The charming effect of these tiny 2 inch ears of rich, shiny mahogany color, encased in straw colored husks, makes them popular for a holiday table decoration.

The Robust 98114W White Popcorn has delicious white kernels that, just like its name, makes the perfect popcorn. This white hull-less corn pops very crisp and tender. This corn has an excellent eating quality and improved stalk strength and yield potential.

R997 is a mid-season butterfly popcorn with the large orange grain. R997 has long cylinder-shaped ears with easy shelling orange kernels and improved stalk strength. It has wide geographic adaptation and has performed exceptionally internationally. High resistance: Grey Leaf Spot Intermediate Resistance: Common Rust, Northern Corn Leaf Blight, and Drought.

R400MR is a superior mushroom variety that has excellent plant health with broad dark green leaves, a study single stalk, and resistance to most diseases. The large single ears give it one of the highest yield potentials in the market today. The rich orange kernel size is exceptional at 47 k/10g while popping about 80% ball and mushroom flakes. High resistance: Common Rust, NCLB, Grey Leaf Spot, and Goss’ Wilt.

Japanese Hulless corn grows 4-5 ft. tall and bears 3-6 four in. long ears. This corn is a little nutty, flavorful popcorn that is very productive. Japanese Hulless is also a great corn to grow with the kids because they get excited knowing the corn they are growing will be a tasty, buttery treat on family movie night!

Fiesta is a hybridized selection of Indian corn with various tones of blue, red, yellow, and white. Approximate maturity is 101 days which is 10 to 14 days earlier than other ornamental corns. Ears average 7 to 10 inches in length with 50 to 70% purple husks. Highly ornamental but also edible, Fiesta corn can be ground into corn meal, corn flour, or used for popping corn.

Delicious and highly ornamental, this striking popcorn features deep purple-black kernels arranged in perfect rows right to the tip. The dark, glossy ears make a standout display for fall décor and deliver excellent flavor when popped. Plants grow a sturdy 6–7 feet tall and typically produce one well-filled ear per stalk.
