Minowase is a classic Japanese daikon producing smooth white roots that can reach 12–18 inches long. Crisp, juicy flesh has a mild, slightly sweet flavor with a gentle peppery finish. The versatile roots are excellent fresh, pickled, fermented, grated, or cooked in soups and stir-fries; seeds may also be used for sprouts or microgreens. The Dickinson is a smooth large pumpkin perfect for pies! The large buff colored rind is an attractive addition to any pumpkin patch or garden. The sweet orange flesh is wonderful for canning, soups and pies. The nearly round to elongated pumpkin can weigh up to 40 pounds. This seed is certified organic.

The Fancy Nantes carrot gets its name for its very smooth skin and fancy cylindrical shape. These carrots can grow up to 8" long with a very sweet and crisp flesh. They can store for months and also do great being left in the ground over winter.

The Wisconsin Lakes Pepper is a beautiful heirloom bell pepper with a bright red flesh. This pepper variety is an early maturing bell pepper that turns from green to red. This pepper is a great choice for Northern gardeners. Wisconsin Lakes was bred by Wisconsin University in the1960s and it produce a good reliable harvest of early bell peppers.

The Little Caesar Lettuce is a very attractive tall romaine type with crisp, bright green outer leaves and golden-blanched inner leaves. This lettuce has a sweet, crunchy flavor that is delicious on any sandwich or salad. This variety is easy to grow and is perfect for smaller gardens. Little Caesar is best picked right before eating.

Rebellion is a full season synthetic population derived from crosses among commercial and university corn belt dent inbred lines. Quite uniform Rebellion, it has the Ga1s trait to discourage cross pollination from unwanted pollen. Ga1s are naturally occurring traits in corn that will greatly reduce outcrossing with plants that don’t carry the same trait. This trait is called gametophytic incompatibility. This trait helps prevent accepting unwanted pollen from transgenic and other field corn. Rebellion was developed by Dr. Frank Kutka and the Seed We Need Project.

King Richard is a newer leek variety that grows well throughout the United States. This leek variety is a summer type, non-bulbing leek that grows to 12" in length. King Richard has green leaves with white inside. This leek is a very early maturer and is not sufficient for overwinter growing.
