Northeast Wildflower Seed

This annual and perennial mix is for ornamental landscaping in the northeastern U.S. and southeastern Canada. This area includes CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT, Washington D.C., WV, the Maritime Provinces, and southern Quebec. Flowers will provide color throughout the growing season.

The Red White & Blue is an annual and perennial wildflower mixture that is a blend of patriotic flower colors and our most popular color-themed mixture! This mix should be planted at 6-12 pounds per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

A wildflower blend for Rhode Island area. This seed blend is a mix of native and naturalized flowers to the Northeast region. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

This mixture contains a wide variety of colors and textures and is suitable for fresh cut flowers as well as dried flowers. Flowers that are cut and dried can be used in winter bouquets when fresh flowers are no longer available. Many species have stiff, papery petals or bracts while still attached to the living plant. To dry flowers, cut stems and tie together. Hang upside down in a dark, well-ventilated room for 3-5 weeks. Money Plant is cut and dried when seed pods are fully developed. This mix should be planted at 14-28 pounds per acre or 10 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Detention Basin Mix is composed of tenacious species that can tolerate areas that are flooded periodically by water. This mix should be planted at 35 pounds per acre or 13 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

A wildflower blend for Delaware area. This seed blend is a mix of native and naturalized flowers to the Northeast region. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

A special mix of flowers that grab everyones attention. The species in this mix are native to or naturalized to the Northeast US, east of Ohio and north of North Carolina. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

A wildflower blend for Maine area. This seed blend is a mix of native and naturalized flowers to the Northeast region. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

A wildflower blend for New Hampshire area. This seed blend is a mix of native and naturalized flowers to the Northeast region. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

Planting a prairie recreates a piece of our natural heritage and can provide habitat for beneficial insects and wildlife. This mix of short prairie flowers can be planted alone or with our Shortgrass Mixture. It is best for moderate to drier sites, and the height ranges from 12 to 36 inches. This mix should be planted at 9-18 pounds per acre or 7 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Massachusetts Blend is a mix of native and naturalized wildflowers to the Northeast region, specifically in Massachusetts. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The New Jersey Blend is a colorful wildflower mix that is formulated specifically for growing well in the New Jersey area. This seed blend is a mix of native and naturalized flowers to the Northeast region. Plant at a rate of 5-10 lbs. per acre or 5 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

This mix of tall prairie flowers can be planted alone or with our Tallgrass Mixture. It is best for moderate to moister sites, and the height ranges from 24 to 96 inches. This mix should be planted at 10-20 pounds per acre or 8 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Eastern Pollinator Blend is a wildflower mixture for pollinator conservation in the eastern United States and southeast Canada. The western planting boundary would be a line straight south from the eastern borders of North and South Dakota. This mix contains a balanced blend of native annuals and perennials that provide nectar and pollen throughout the growing season.
