Attracting Pollinators Wildflower

Our wildflower department has a great selection of blends specific to attracting pollinators. These do great around gardens, borders and meadows. These blends help attract beneficial insects including bees, butterflies, birds and more!

This flower mixture is for pollinator conservation in the western United States and southwest Canada. The eastern planting boundary would be a line straight south from the eastern borders of North and South Dakota. It contains a balanced blend of native annuals and perennials that provide nectar and pollen throughout the growing season. Plant at 5 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft. or 7-14 lbs. per acre.

Turns your backyard into a colorful bird sanctuary. This colorful, well-balanced mix produces colorful blooms throughout the growing season. When the blossoms fade, substantial seed heads remain to attract popular songbirds including finches, grosbeaks, cardinals, and many more. This mix should be planted at 13-26 lbs. per acre. For smaller areas use 10 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Bird and Butterfly Blend is a mix of the best most widely adapted wildflowers to attract many species of butterflies and birds. Easy to grow, the mix provides a broad bloom range for a long season of color, which attracts many species of butterflies and birds. This mix should be planted at 11-22 lbs. per acre and for smaller areas, use 8 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Beneficial Insectary Blend is a beautiful mixture of wildflowers that are deer resistant and will attract beneficial insects to the garden. This mix will bring an abundance of  ladybugs, lacewings, ground beetles and other insects that feed on pests. Many of the nectar sipping/pest-eating insects that are attracted to flower pollen will also pollinate your fruit and vegetable crops and increase your yields. This mix should be planted at 9-18 lbs. per acre and for smaller areas, use 7 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Eastern Pollinator Blend is a wildflower mixture for pollinator conservation in the eastern United States and southeast Canada. The Bee Feed Blend is a mix of annual and perennial wildflowers that provide nectar and pollen to wild bees, honey bees and other pollinators. This blend is well suited for maintained landscapes such as garden beds, borders and managed meadows. The Bee Feed Blend contains early, mid and late blooming flowers in order to provide bee forage all season long. These wildflowers are suitable for short-tongued and long-tongued bees and come in a wide range of colors for an attractive display. This mix should be planted at 6-12 lbs. per acres and for smaller areas, use 5-6 oz. per 1,000 sq.ft.

The monarch Butterfly Blend is a wildflower mix for butterfly lovers that is specifically made for attracting Monarchs to the garden. This mix of annuals and perennials are what Monarch's prefer to visit for nectar and lay their eggs. Planting rate of 12-24 pounds per acre or 8 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.

The Hummingbird Blend is a mixture that provides a season-long smorgasbord of wildflowers to attract hummingbirds to the garden. If hummingbirds naturally occur in your area, this annual and perennial blend will attract them in abundance to your garden. Plant 5-10 pounds per acre or 4 ounces per 1,000 sq.ft.
