OVen Dried Tomatoes RecipeSimple oven roasted tomatoes packed with delicious flavor. So easy to make anyone can do it and everyone has extra tomatoes!

What You Need
1-2 pounds of cherry tomatoes
1 garlic head (optional)
6 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
3 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons ground pepper
May add basil or other herbs for taste


Preperation of tomatoes and other ingredients

Preparing oven roasted tomatoesPreheat oven to 225º degrees. As your waiting for the oven line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Begin cutting your cherry tomatoes in half in lining them onto the sheet. Now break apart the garlic clove into single unpealed cloves. Place these along side the cut tomatoes. Season the tomatoes with salt, pepper, and any herbs you have chosen for the dish. We would suggest at least adding basil which gives great flavor.

Place in oven and allow to dry out.

Oven Dried TOmatoesLet the tomatoes and garlic slowly roast for 3-6, or until the tomatoes are the desired texture.




Storage and Using Oven Dried Tomatoes
Frozen Oven Dried TomatoesTo store put everything in a bowl and keep in the refrigerator. The garlic will continue to flavor the tomatoes. For longer storage place in a plastic bag and keep in the freezer. These tomatoes are great for sandwiches, sliced cheese, lettuce, and toast. Enjoy!
