Does well in most climates. Pods average 6-7 " long, and are silver colored, occasionally streaked with rose. Easy to grow and shell.
Tends to stay off the ground and cluster making for easy picking. Referred to as a "Knuckle Hull" because of the big, plump peas.
Hulls are purple, cowpeas are green with pinkeyes when freshly picked turning cream with dark maroon when dry.
Southern favorite! Bushy 2-3' plants the bear heavy yields. 6-9" large pods with large, creamy-white seeds.
