Pumpkin vines are very productive with pumpkins that have thick walls. Great eating quality.
The pumpkin's rind is hard but thin and slightly ribbed. The flesh is sweet, thick and course.
An older, smaller pumpkin variety, the Small Sugar is excellent for pies. This pumpkin is very fine-grained, sweet and sugary, and keeps well.
Very uniform with great tasting inside. A high yielding, dark orange pumpkin, 6-8" around, weighing about 5-6 lbs.
